“Does this actually work? Has it helped people like me? Has it changed outcomes in real units, real organizations, and real lives?”

Culture, Communication, and Turnover
When pressure patterns shift at the team level, you don’t just get happier people—you see it in your metrics.
Case Study:
Cancer Center – From 95% Turnover to 5%
“My first organizational training was for a cancer center. They were experiencing a staff turnover rate that was over 95% and had been for two years. Much of this was due to a lack of communication between two departments, specifically two physicians. I did a two-day training on communication. I had the option of working individually with the two physicians who were problematic. However, I was concerned they would refuse to cooperate. Instead, I placed them in breakout groups together, tasking them with specific communication assignments that they had to practice on one another.
The two problem departments revamped their communications within a week, and the organization’s staff retention problem turned around. Over the next 12 months, their turnover was 5% total for the year, well below the national average for healthcare organizations in the US.”

Nurses at Alta Vista – From Frustration to Cohesive Team
“This group of nurses often comes to me to vent around their issues in the unit and how admin and management do not listen to them. I’ve coached them informally on communication and leadership skills on multiple occasions. This has resulted in a unit that is running more effectively, has developed cohesion, and the staff are much happier. They function as a team, a well-oiled machine that lifts up each member while putting patients first.”
“Within a year, staff turnover dropped from 95% to 5%. Communication changed. The culture followed.”
Reclaiming Calm, Confidence, and Self-Trust
These are the people who were supposed to “just push through”—until they didn’t.
“I’ve reclaimed my sanity, which is priceless.” — DW
“Before working with Dr. Nuessle and the Beat Down Burnout program, I was struggling deeply. A significant injury had left me hospitalized for eleven days, and the stress and isolation brought old demons to the surface. I was overwhelmed by fear about my future, doubting my faith and questioning everything. I felt alone, stuck carrying unresolved issues for decades, and unsure how to move forward.
Dr. Nuessle gently encouraged me to confront these buried struggles through the program. She provided a safe, supportive space to face my fears, teaching me the importance of opening up to trusted friends and addressing issues directly instead of carrying them in silence. This approach shifted my mindset and gave me tools I hadn’t had before.
Now, I feel empowered to acknowledge and process my challenges as they arise. My relationships are healthier, my priorities clearer, and my mental peace restored. I’ve reclaimed my sanity, which is priceless. This program didn’t just help me heal—it gave me a new way to live. I highly recommend it to anyone who wants to move past pain and truly thrive.”
“I used to binge drink 1–2 nights every week… now I feel in control of my life again.” — EM
“Binge drinking is a common problem for many of us. EM came to me with concerns that she was binge drinking one to two nights a week. She was afraid she was turning into her father, a violent alcoholic who beat her mother, resulting in a divorce. She did not want to become someone who repelled those she loved or had such anger outbursts. She didn’t like the person she became when she was drunk.
I coached her down to the root cause of this, followed by a release. Three months later, she has not had a single episode of binge drinking. In addition, she is no longer having a daily cocktail or glass of wine and has reduced that drinking to one every 7–14 days.”
Teen with Anxiety and Agoraphobia, Now College-Ready — SB
“SB is a teen who has anxiety and was developing agoraphobia. She avoided leaving the house to buy groceries and was hesitant to retrieve the mail from the mailbox. She was terrified of the idea of starting college in the fall, living in the dorms, and attending classes in person. Her friends were planning an outing for her 18th birthday, coming up in a matter of weeks, and she was terrified. Things had gotten so bad that she was ignoring basic activities of daily living, such as bathing and washing her hair. SB was desperate for change. At the same time, she was terrified to start the process and commit to finishing.
I took her through a breakthrough on self-love, a process which takes two weeks. Within a week, she was bathing and washing her hair. By day 10, she ventured to the mailbox twice. During this time, we were challenged with finding a place in her home where she had the privacy to feel comfortable being vulnerable. At one point, we did a session with her sitting alone in her car, so that she could emote away from the eyes of family members.
At the end of the two-week breakthrough, she was looking forward to her birthday night out. She even bought a new outfit to celebrate her newfound self-confidence. She went to the grocery store. She was looking forward to starting college the following month.”
“I came out feeling much calmer, more at peace, and more confident in myself.” — TM
“TM came to me carrying deep hurt and feelings of being stuck and weak. She was weighed down by negative emotions that had kept her from moving forward. Through the breakthrough process, TM experienced a profound release of those feelings. She told me, ‘The breakthrough process was an amazing experience. I came out feeling much calmer, more at peace, and more confident in myself.’
What stood out was how TM’s openness allowed her to fully relax into the process, making the release natural and painless. Seeing her walk away with renewed calm and confidence was truly inspiring. TM now encourages others to experience the breakthrough process whenever they feel trapped by negative emotions they can’t shake.”
From Fear, Avoidance, and Inner Critic to Purposeful Action — M
“M came to me feeling anxious, afraid, and sad, trapped in a cycle of avoidance that kept her from engaging in her business or setting clear goals. Her inner critic told her she couldn’t succeed, so she didn’t even try. This left her unfulfilled and stuck, both at work and in her personal life.
Through our work aligning her conscious and unconscious mind, M experienced a crucial breakthrough. This alignment helped dissolve the self-doubt and fear that had held her back, giving her a new sense of empowerment and clarity.
Now, M feels energized and confident enough to take purposeful action. She’s moving forward consistently, no longer paralyzed by her inner critic, and beginning to create the success and fulfillment she had long desired.”
From Stuck and Small to Clear, Confident, and Leading Again
84-Year-Old Coach Finally Steps Into Her Calling — AS
“Before working with Nan, I was completely paralyzed in my life. At 84, I was still working as a postal delivery person with a coaching business only on paper—I felt stuck, overwhelmed by anxiety, sadness, and fear. I believed I wasn’t good enough, weighed down by my father’s harsh words that I would never amount to anything. I was frozen, unable to see a way forward or believe I could build a successful coaching practice and retire.
Nan’s breakthrough process helped me break through the confining beliefs I held about my father’s view of me, revealing that his perception was not my truth. Through somatic release, I let go of the anxiety and sadness I had carried in my body for years. This combination gave me clarity and renewed energy.
Now, I am glowing with confidence and unstoppable in pursuing my coaching business. I make clear decisions daily and take consistent action toward growth. I have retired from the postal service and finally feel happy and fulfilled in my work. My authentic confidence draws clients and colleagues alike, and I believe in myself in a way I never thought possible.”
From Anger and Bitterness to Peace and Empowerment — AM
“AM was overwhelmed by anger and bitterness, feeling unworthy and trapped in resentment that was alienating her family and keeping her from moving forward with her dream business. She was on the verge of divorce and struggling to find peace or options to change her situation.
Through root cause coaching, AM released the limiting decisions and negative emotions that had held her captive—those complex equivalents that kept her stuck. This breakthrough sparked a true epiphany: she realized the negative emotions weren’t her reality and that she had empowering new choices available.
Now, AM enjoys true peace and calm in her family life, a rapidly growing business, and a fulfilling marriage of over two years. She experiences hope, belief, trust, and empowerment every day, living proof that transformation is possible when you let go of old pain and claim your power.”
From Numbing Out to Focused, Fulfilled Entrepreneur — CT
“CT was a successful entrepreneur struggling with distraction and frustration. She found herself habitually turning on the television for background noise, which unexpectedly led to watching more TV than engaging with clients. Despite her multi-6-figure income, she felt like a failure, stuck and overwhelmed, doubting her ability to fix her stalled business.
Through root cause coaching, we uncovered that her need for television noise was rooted in childhood trauma related to parental abuse. By releasing limiting decisions, negative emotions, self-blame, and shame tied to that trauma, CT experienced a profound shift. She realized she was safe and could stand in her power, sparking excitement and eagerness to move forward.
Now, CT has replaced the TV with white noise recordings, creating a calm, focused work environment. Her business is growing again, welcoming new clients and renewing energy with established ones. She feels a calm strength that helps her prioritize impactful, income-producing activities daily, fully engaging in her work and finding true fulfillment in helping her clients achieve their dreams.”
From Silent and Invisible to Fully Expressed — AH
“AH is a businesswoman with multiple small businesses who aspired to transition into coaching as her primary focus. Despite her ambition, she struggled deeply with feelings of unworthiness, smallness, and invisibility. These feelings stemmed from profound infant trauma—being intubated and ventilated as a premature baby—which created a physical and emotional block, manifesting as a sensation of something stuck in her throat, preventing her from speaking confidently and engaging fully in her coaching business.
Through a compassionate process combining root cause and somatic coaching, AH experienced a powerful breakthrough. We released the negative thoughts, emotions, and limiting beliefs tied to her trauma. A somatic release metaphorically ‘removed the intubation tube’ her unconscious mind thought was still present. This unlocked her ability to speak her truth with clarity and confidence for the first time.
Following this transformation, AH began actively engaging with others, speaking to new people, planning social media posts, reaching out to potential clients, and setting up accountability partnerships. Her mindset shifted profoundly—she stopped playing small and started creating big goals with clear steps to achieve them. AH now embodies confident self-expression and purposeful action as she builds her coaching business, breaking free from the silence that once held her back.”
